Beloved Stories produces films at no-cost for grass-roots non-profits and ministries that are committed to serving within under-resourced communities.

Filmmaking is one of the most powerful mediums of communication in technological age. Through films, people have the opportunity to become aware of stories and realities that they may have never known otherwise.

There is no question that there is beautiful work happening from grassroots organizations and ministries in every community across the nation. You don’t need a massive operation to be effective and to see fruit to your labor. But, many grassroots organizations remain under-resourced, while outside contexts remain unaware of locally focused initiatives. Partnership can’t happen if the existence is unknown. A gap is created when people don’t get to hear the stories, because organizations can’t afford to tell them.

With a posture of partnership, Beloved Stories produces films at no-cost for under-resourced, grass-roots non-profits and ministries that are committed to serving their communities.

NON-PROFIT FILMMAKING

Beloved Stories is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), existing to partner with grassroots non-profits and ministries to produce high-quality stories through filmmaking & photography. Beloved Stories is not a production company, although the standard of work is excellence. The goal is to provide professional film production to organizations who, in ordinary circumstances, may not be able to afford it or have access to it.

We have seen the power of story, and how it can transform perspectives and opinions, illuminate realities that were once hidden, and educate viewers upon the brokenness and beauty taking place in communities all across the nation.

GOD’S GLORY IN GRASS ROOTS

In the places that some might label “the bad side of town” is where sacred work is taking place every day. There are numerous organizations around the world doing impactful work in their city without a massive platform or a large following. Powerful examples of movement are happening in places that you may not often find stories being told. Within the smaller organizations that aren’t focused on scale, but rather on effectiveness and fruitfulness, is where change is being forwarded inside communities in every city.

God’s glory is displayed among the humble, where people serve out of a calling and a passion. We are committed to telling the stories of those who are humbly committed to serving the various needs of their community, to ultimately capture the glory of God found in grass-roots spaces.

PARTNERSHIP IS THE PURPOSE

Our goal isn’t to build a new narrative, exploit stories, or to forward any political perspective. Beloved Stories exists to be a blessing, providing a resource that can tangibly benefit organizations and ministries who are doing the work in under-resourced contexts. A main point of Beloved Stories is to offer excellent filmmaking to those who otherwise couldn’t afford it. The telling of these stories happens only through the posture of partnership, where both parties can believe in the collective mission of loving neighbor.
